Delilah Mulgannon, Therapist in Training
Taking the step to seek support is a powerful act of self-compassion and I am here to guide you on your journey toward self-awareness and growth. My focus includes supporting adults facing social and generalized anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship conflicts, including attachment issues. My goal is to help you reconnect to your authentic self, increase your self-acceptance, and build a meaningful life that aligns with your values.
I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Hunter College and am committed to creating a warm, compassionate space where you can uncover your inner strength and wisdom. My approach is empathetic and strengths-based, offering you a safe space to process difficult emotions and navigate life’s challenges. I utilize both cognitive-behavioral and mindful, somatic techniques, including parts work, to help you process trauma and build a strong mind-body connection. Whether you are struggling with rumination and self-doubt or feel disconnected to your passions, I am here to help you overcome internal blocks, reconnect with your creativity, and guide you toward greater confidence and self-trust.
I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach and I aim to tailor treatment to your unique needs and goals. Whether you prefer a more structured or flexible approach, we will work together to find what feels best for you. It is important to me that you feel seen and heard. No matter what you are facing, I hope to help you connect to your intuition and experience more moments of joy and aliveness.

I chose to become a therapist because I wanted to create a space where people feel safe to embrace their most authentic selves, unlock their full potential, and build a fulfilling and meaningful life.
-
What I find most rewarding is helping clients feel less alone in their healing journey and witnessing them rediscover meaningful parts of themselves they thought were lost—or uncover strengths they never knew they had.

“Yes, I am imperfect and vulnerable and sometimes afraid, but that doesn’t change the truth that I am also brave and worthy of love and belonging.” - Brené Brown
